Day 1: Build It On The Word

Scripture: 2 Timothy 2:15; Matthew 7:24–27

Devotional:
Every cowboy knows the importance of a solid foundation—whether you're buildin' a fence, a barn, or a life. You can’t expect a place to stand strong when the storms roll in if it’s sittin’ on sand. Jesus made that clear: the wise man builds his house on the rock. And in our lives, that rock is the Word of God.

God’s Word ain’t just a Sunday sermon or a dusty book on the shelf—it’s a living, powerful guide meant to shape every part of who we are. When life gets messy—and it will—you need something unshakable to hold onto. That’s why Scripture matters. It shows us how to live right, love deep, and walk straight. It’ll teach you how to raise your kids, treat your neighbor, and walk through the darkest valleys without losin’ your way.

If your life’s gonna be a memorial to something, let it be to a life rooted deep in God’s Word. The Bible ain’t just information—it’s transformation. Don’t just read it, live it. That’s how you sit tall in the saddle of remembrance.

Cowboy Challenge:
Pick one chapter in the Bible this week—maybe 2 Timothy, since that’s where this whole message starts. Read a few verses a day and underline what sticks out. Then live one of those truths out in a practical way today.
