Day 2: Your Mission - Show the Gospel by Meeting Needs

Scripture: Matthew 15:32, Luke 6:18, James 2:15-17

You ever try preachin’ to a man with an empty belly or a busted heart? Doesn’t matter how good your sermon is—he won’t hear it till you help him stand up.

Jesus didn’t just walk into town spoutin’ Scripture. He healed the sick, fed the hungry, and met folks right where they were. That’s how He earned the right to speak truth—they knew He cared. “I feel compassion for these people,” He said (Matt. 15:32). That compassion led to action.

James didn’t sugarcoat it either. If you say you’ve got faith but don’t lift a finger when someone’s in need, that kind of faith is as dead as last winter’s fencepost (James 2:17).
Real evangelism don’t just talk—it serves.
