Day 3: Build With Good Works

Scripture: Ephesians 2:8–10; Titus 3:8

Let’s set the record straight—good works won’t save your soul. Salvation is by grace through faith, period. But once you're saved, God’s got work for you to do. Your life ought to be a testimony, a work of art that shows the world what Jesus can do with a willing heart.

We are His workmanship, Paul says. That means God’s workin’ on you, in you, and through you. And the result? Good works. Not to earn heaven, but because you’ve already been given it. It’s like a cowboy that’s proud of his ranch—he keeps it in good shape, not to prove it’s his, but because it is.

Whether it’s teachin’ a class, prayin’ for someone, cookin’ for a neighbor, or lendin’ a hand—every little thing you do in Jesus’ name builds a monument of faith. A life of service is a life that leaves a legacy. When you’re gone, folks won’t remember your paycheck—they’ll remember your prayer life, your kindness, and your obedience.
