Day 4: Remember What He's Done

Scripture: Luke 22:19; Romans 6:3–4

Devotional:
We’re a forgetful bunch. That’s why God gave us reminders like the Lord’s Supper and baptism. Not so we could go through the motions, but so we’d remember what really matters.
The bread and cup? They remind us that Jesus gave His body and poured out His blood so we could be forgiven. Baptism? It’s a picture of death, burial, and resurrection—the ultimate reset for a sinner made clean.

Memorials aren’t just for the past—they’re for the present too. Every time we come to the table or witness a baptism, we’re reminded that we’re part of a much bigger story. One with sacrifice, redemption, and hope.

So take the time to remember. Don’t let what Jesus did become routine. Let it stir your heart again. Let it change how you live.
