The Wrong Message

Today, too many Pastors are sending out the wrong message. They’re afraid that by telling their folks the truth, they might run them off. They spend too much time putting on a show for entertainment. The problem is that when their folks leave church on Sunday morning, they leave with a false sense of security with regards to their salvation. They're being taught that if you're a good person you'll get to heaven. And that's not what the bible teaches.

John 14:6 Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me." 

Jesus is saying that the only way to receive eternal life is through him. He’s saying that there is NO other way. If you’re not saved today, the way to secure your salvation is as easy as ABC. Admit that you are a sinner. Repent and turn away from your sin. Believe that Jesus Christ is God's Son and accept God's gift of forgiveness from sin. Confess your faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. Get involved in a bible believing church to grow in.
