Arena Team

The arena team is responsible for planning, organizing, and working all arena events. Members of this team secure the use of other facilities in the community for church arena events until our own arena is ready for use. The arena team will be the primary planners in the construction of a future arena for WCF.

Arena Team Leader: Mike Heuer

Facilities Team

The Facilities Team is responsible for keeping our facility in good working order. They oversee the care, maintenance, and use of all facilities and grounds (except the arena). This is truly a team with a place for anyone who wants to help. Although they are always looking for folks with building, trade, or technical experience, all that is really needed is a willing spirit and helping hands. The Facility Team is responsible to ensure that the church has adequate facilities to effectively carry out its ministries. they also assist the pastor with long range planning which will ensure that the church has adequate facilities to meet future needs.

Facilities Team Leader: Bill Smith

Cook Team

The purpose of the Cook Team is to serve and provide meals at special events, arena competitions, and special church functions. With a smile, we serve up God’s love and compassion as humble servants in His name with the food He has provided.

Cook Team Leader: Rodney Burson

Cleaning Team

The Cleaning Team will maintain the church building (Tent). The Cleaning Team is responsible for the cleaning of the church. This includes sweeping, mopping, disinfecting and restrooms. They will report any maintenance needs to the Facilities Team.

Cleaning Team Leader: Kelli Copeland

Hospitality Team

Making everyone feel welcome when they visit Willis Cowboy Fellowship is an important ministry of this team. The Hospitality Team includes handing out bulletins, shaking hands, providing a friendly face to visitors, helping families with children get to children’s church, offering coffee and doughnuts and helping folks find a seat.

Hospitality Team Leader: Vickie Snow

Children’s Ministry Team

The members of this team work to minister and teach the children of the church. They will follow the curriculum provided by Willis Cowboy Fellowship. They will help in outreach to other children in the cowboy culture of our community. Adult volunteers are an essential part of this ministry. The goal of this service is for children to be able to learn on their level in an atmosphere that is totally designed for them. We require background checks for everyone working in the children ministry area.

Children’s Ministry Leader: Lisa Heuer

Youth Ministry Team

The members of this team work to minister and teach the youth of the church. They will follow the curriculum provided by Willis Cowboy Fellowship. They will help in outreach to other youth in the cowboy culture of our community. Adult volunteers are an essential part of this ministry. The goal of this service is for youth to be able to learn on their level in an atmosphere that is totally designed for them. We require background checks on everyone working in the youth ministry area.

Youth Ministry Leader: Tucker Walding

Outreach Team

The Outreach Team is responsible for spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ outside the walls of our building. Their primary duties will be visitation, i.e. nursing homes, hospitals, and shut-ins.

Outreach Team Leader: Cheryl Carter

Music Team

It is the responsibility of the Music Team to select and prepare music for Sunday morning worship and other special events as needed. The music selected should be in the style relevant to the cowboy lifestyle and the western heritage. The team consists of the band and others associated with music, such as sound and visual media.

Music Team Leader: Rick Sousley

Finance Team

The Finance Team is responsible to ensure that the church has adequate financial resources to effectively carry out its ministries. They work cooperatively with the pastor, elders, and team leaders to find maximum resources for meeting each ministry need. They are responsible for working with the pastor and elders in preparation of the annual budget and overseeing and accounting of all financial records. The Finance Team keeps the books, records contributions and deposits, maintains bank records, and writes out checks to pay bills.

Finance Team Leader: Angela Crookes

Media Team

The Media Team is responsible for promoting the church through social media. The Media Team will maintain the church website as well as promoting the church through social media. They will use Facebook to film the Sunday morning service, and attend all events to ensure pictures are taken to upload onto our social media pages. The team will also produce a monthly (bi-monthly or weekly) newsletter.

Media Team Leader: Dena Horne

Safety Team

The Safety Team is responsible for the safety and security of the church body as well as the property. They will be mindful of anyone who is on the property and who enters the building. They will be considered to be the “watchmen on the wall”. This team will train with the team leader to perform any of the duties necessary.
